Engagements, Marriage & Children for CatholicMatch Couples

Faith Focused Dating - Grow in Faith, Fall in Love.

CatholicMatch couples are walking the path of courtship to engagement to the wedding altar, and ultimately to starting families. We are pleased to report several updates in all regards.

Craig and Helena (shown in the photo above) first told the story of their meeting this past June. Their shared spiritual life was a solid foundation for their relationship and an inspiration, as they prayed the rosary together over Skype and sought God’s will.

Two months later they reported their engagement, and in November they were married in the Catholic Church. Craig and Helena both suffered through marriages that were subsequently annulled by the Church. They entered their relationship together with a deep commitment to a faith-filled life. It was surely fitting that they were wed surrounded by their children and are now one family.

Matthew and Sarah both bring their faith to the workplace every day. Matthew works for the Church, while Sarah is studying theology and training to be a catechist. They have discussed building a life together that includes mission work. A relationship that seemed likely to go to the next level when it was first shared it back in December, has now resulted in an engagement.

Matthew was going to propose to Sarah at Easter, but the ring just burned a hole in his pocket.

The original plan was for Matthew to propose around Easter, but he made a change and for the most basic of reasons. “The ring was burning a hole in my pocket,” he admitted. This couple, whose love for their faith is above all else, will now share that love with each other for a lifetime.

We were also pleased to hear from the Pacific Northwest, where Dan and Agape reported they were married in December 2012 and had their first child this past August. “We have a happy life,” Agape said. “When we have problems we pray and ask God to help us.”

It’s in this simple surrender to Divine Providence that Dan and Agape have the foundation for what is now a growing family and they both felt CatholicMatch was an environment that was safe for a person of faith to seek a like-minded spouse.
