Memmo's restaurant on Via Dei Soldati in Rome is excellent http://www.osteriadememmo.it
Reservations highly recommended. The antipasto course is superb.
If you want very inexpensive but very good, "Carlo Menta: is in Trastevere, not too far a walk from the Pantheon. Via della Lungaretta, 101 00153 Rome, Italy

Um. Just suggesting that all who can attend go out to eat at "4leoni" in Florence. The pear fiocetti is the best meal I've ever eaten and two of my friends who went to Florence also stopped by to try it after I posted a mouthwatering picture of the meal on Facebook. So delicious!

Hi Donna.. Thank you for your concern ... June is a fine time to tour esp when we have other variables to consider when planning a CM event.. In the summer more people can attend because their children are out of school or perhaps they themselves work in the school system. We have many teachers amount us. In addition, one can not swim in a pool in beautiful Tuscany in the Fall. Our wonderful villa is high in a mountain top and even in August it will be chilly at night!! Our apartments in Rome have A/C, so I am sure a little heat during the day is worth being able to join in such a fantastic vacation!!:)

I would love to be placed on the waiting list for this Italy trip. Would I be able to bring another catholic friend? If so what would the cost be per person. Have there been any cancellations yet I am very Interested.
Have great Day , Madeline

By the way, Mike and anyone else who is concerned, what Tracy says about the apartments is absolutely true; homes to rent (weather they are apartments, condos or rooms) are not only nice and clean but they are far cheaper then the hotels in or next to the cities out here.
Also, Tracy, maybe it would be possible for me just to "hang-out" and go where you all go, cause I'm local.

Mike.. I am more than happy to put you up in a hotel in Rome no problem.. Apartments in Rome is a consideration because they are much larger than Hotel rooms and less expensive.. the apartments can contain one, two or three bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living room and some have balconies... even over looking St. Peters .... Because they have kitchens doesnt mean you have to cook.......... but it does give one the option to save money by storing snacks and food during your stay in a fridge.. The apartments are VERY CLEAN and run from 4 to 5 star accommodations.. much better than alot of hotels... Again.. I am happy to set you up with a hotel.. NO problem at all.. A decision hasnt been made thus far, however if you decide to attend, I will happily put you up close to where we are.. :D God Bless

I also heard that MAYBE; THAT WHEN IN STAYING IN ROME; THAT YOU MIGHT STAY IN APT'S; SHARE APTS; I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANYBODY ELSE MY OPINION; I PREFER A HOTEL; I WOULDN'T WANT TO LIVE IN A STRANGE PLACE; IT WOULD BE MY FIRST TIME TO ITALY; AND I DON'T WANT APT; FLYING MORE THAN 12 HRS; THEN YOU HAVE TO COOK OR WHATEVER; IN A APT; ALSO I DON'T KNOW HOW "CLEAN" THEY ARE APT; I CONSIDER MYSELF A (VERY) "PRIVIATE" PERSON; SO I PREFER A HOTEL; IF YOUSTAY IN A APT. THEN I'AM OUT; I WONT GO TO ITALY; WILL GO SOME OTHER TIME; I HOPE WE STAY AT A HOTEL I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE TO EVERYBODY; THANK YOU! MIKE "PEACE"!!

Hi Sue.... Our website gives all information regarding money.. It will show the price of the land package and my payment plan.. there is also a currency converter to help you with the Euro/USD exchange.. All of my trips are for adults only 18+.. I do wish at some point maybe I can include young adults as I have a well behaved 15 year old as well but for their safety and the enjoyment of the trip for the adults, I've kept all trips adults only at this time..

Joy.. Once I have outlined our itinerary you will see there is plenty of time for daily mass in Rome if this is something you would like to do.. looks like we would be attending some masses at the main 4 Basilicas... Once outside of Rome.. Assisi is also another place we would be attending mass.. While in Tuscany, it would be more difficult to have daily mass however it is possible to attend mass if you choose on your own.

FYI...I know Tracy will be updating this event just as soon as she can. But a key piece of information is that the price and deposit is in EUROS, because Tracy lives in Ireland and that's the currency there. Tracy is a GREAT hostess and you can expect a TON more information to be posted. Keep checking back.
