I was just in Sedona. For anyone who's never been to Sedona and is interested in this event, see my page. I have some photos. And Geh, Sedona is about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drize from Sedona. It's not too far at all. About 110 miles or about 180 km. Perhaps those from Arizona or Karina has more information. Have a wonderful time!

I am from the Philippines and I saw this picture of Sedona before in a local calendar poster. I really wish I could visit the place, however I am too far from it. Is there anyone here who can give me more info about the place like how far it is from the very famous Grand CanyonI I think $225 is really worth for it!

For those who would like to go to Sedona at a later day, the next best time would be along the Memorial Day weekend - May 25th to May 28th. Rebeca, Lisa, Elizabeth, Deanna and any others interested in going to Sedona a little later, let me know if these dates will work for you and I will plan accordingly. P.S. I am still planning to go to Sedona in February as well, all those interested have until Sat Jan 28th to let me know to make further plans and send additional details...count down!!

Interesting! And, tempting! I've always wanted to go to Sedona in February! I am giving it some thought...but I'd had my own place to lay my head - Sedona Pines Resort which is west of downtown and across from Red Rock SP. Katrina, would this be a problem? You don't mention where you all would be staying. I'm giving it some thought. I'd likely be flying into PHX and renting a car. PM (private message) me if you want to ride along! Maybe we could work something out!
btw, I love St. John Vianney, Tlaquepaque, Flag..ok, I like the area!

I was just in Sedona in Thanksgiving and hiked one of the trails with my sister who lives in Chandler. Unfortunately, I normally need more notice for an event costing $225 plus other expenses. If you plan any in the future, I may be interested. Sedona is amazing and one of the most peaceful places on this earth! I encourage people to attend this event that Karina has so kindly put together. I would go in a second if I lived in the area. Have a great time.
