Parking, Entrance and Hwy Exit: Just a couple of final notes -
1. If there are no spaces available in the back of the building, park on the street in front and walk down the driveway to the back.
2. Entrance is usually through the back, not the side door marked Cricket Hill.
3. If travelling on US-46 West, you'll see an exit for Fairfield Road. You can take this if you choose although the exit in the directions is Hollywood Road which is 1/2 mile down the road. The only difference is whether you drive the half-mile on 46 or Fairfield.
Okay, I think that just about covers it. See you all on Friday!

Thank you Joachim,: for stepping up and doing the research, posting links.
I haven't been to the 94th Bomber in some time. It's part of a chain of restaurants at small airports. I think there's one in Wilmington too.
Wherever we end up should be someplace easy to get to for people unfamiliar with the area. Your suggestions are right on track.

Dinner Following Beer: The question was raised, will we only be drinking beer at our Microbrewery tour & tasting event this coming Friday (10/28) or will there be food involved too? Well, since this is a working brewery and not a brewpub, the only food on site will be chips and pretzels.
However, I expect that the event will continue afterward at a diner or casual restaurant in the area where we can share a meal and continue to share our CM experiences. Naturally, this is optional but would be a nice way to end the evening and keep people from driving home hungry to eat some take out or microwaved food. And if we go to a 24 hour diner, this event could well go into Saturday. :veryhappy:

RE: I do not understand all these seeking people: I totally :boggled: my mind that more people do not attend these get togethers. So many people say they want to meet (even if not romantically) yet they never show up. Probably usually means to me, (not attending) Come on people!!!! I have been to several so far and have never walked away disappointed :veryhappy: Come with no expectation other than having a good time and seeing where the spirit moves. Come on people, talk is cheap put your words into action  In order for the Lord to work there has to be an action on our part. Open the door!!!! Just my :twocents:

NJ::Fairfield - Meet Fellow CM'ers! - Have a Beer! - 2005-10-28: Link back to Event: http://www.catholicmatch.com/pl/pages/events/details.html?hc=1;event_id=4601
As well-educated Catholic men and women, you all know that there is a fine tradition of beer brewing in Catholic countries. In fact, the Trappist Monks in Belgium have long been acclaimed for their skill in this craft. Since we should all be well acquainted with all aspects of Catholic tradition (lower-case 'T'), you are all invited to the special North Jersey gathering at a local microbrewery.
Although not run by monks, they are very friendly people who will share their knowledge of brewing beer. You will get up close to the bottling machine, touch the vats, see the sacks of hops that go into making it. And best of all, get to try the finished products. Yes, products, plural. There an ale, a lager, and an IPA. Another is in development and may be available.
So, what would you pay for a night of education, camaraderie, and refreshment? Did you say nothing?! Well then, the price is right for you because that's exactly how much it will cost you. Absolutely nothing!
Don't miss out on what should be a most interesting evening. Ladies, even if you don't drink beer normally, think of this as a sure spot to meet some great CM guys!

DIRECTIONS: Below are directions provided by the brewery from the East and West (it's located between Parsippany and Wayne if that helps anyone). For North or South, take your preferred road (NJ Tpke, GSP, I-287, etc) to I-80 or US-46 and follow directions below.
Directions to Cricket Hill Brewery:
From the West: Take Rt. 80 east to the Exit for Rt.46, (the Caldwells), continue on Rt. 46 east to the Fairfield Rd. exit.(exit is just beyond the Fairfield Inn). Continue on Fairfield Rd. ¼ mile to Kulick Rd.. (look for Calandra's Bakery on left and R&L sheet metal on right )
Make a right on Kulick Rd. We are in the rear of the 5th building on the right. (look for sign in front of building).
From the East: Take Rt. 80 west till exit for Rt.23 south. Follow signs for Rt. 46 west. Stay on Rt. 46 west till the exit for Hollywood Ave. At exit make a right on Hollywood, cross over Rt. 46, and make a right on Fairfield Rd. Follow Fairfield Road till Kulick Road on you left. (look for Calandra's bakery on your right and R&L sheet metal on the left.) make a left on to Kulick Rd. We are in the rear of the 5th building on the right. (look for sign in front of building)
