I usually make my goals in the autumn. That's also the beginning of the Jewish new Year...I was born 9/30. That is kind of the beginning of my "new" year...I set certain strategies before me that I'd like to put in action for my new year, but not in January.....that is the "bleak mid-winter" for me and I'm not inspired then. I tend to want to hibernate and be introspective and then renewal begins again in about late Feb.
That's just me.

I find it a good time to begin a new challenge. I have a good deal of discipline and I am usually successful at attaining my new challenge.
This year I challenged myself to pray the Rosary each day. Of course I should have been doing this my entire life, but I wasn't so now I am. So far so good.
Best wishes to those of you that have accepted a new challenge to change your life in a positive way.
