After the way judges have become permanent legislatures, yes, they should be elected. The idea that that would skew their rulings has been completely supplanted by the reality that in being insulated from electoral pressures, they act like politicians who don't have to worry about being reelected.

I voted yes, but now I'm having second thoughts. If judges are elected, would corruption become widespread (as if there isn't corruption now). I'm just thinking about how Congress is (granted, I'm originally from Massachusetts and have been voting against Kennedy & Kerry since I was allowed to vote) and I'm wondering if we would have a larger problem than the one we have now.
