First 'cause I'm looking for a true Catholic girl to walk the path of spirituality with!
Second, because on the real life, for example drinking in a a bar, would sound weird asking girls: "Hi, my name is Aldo, pleased to meet you and...what about contraception?!" Being some issues so important but no simple to talk about! :)

I want to meet a PRACTICING Catholic boyfriend or spouse, I've met/dated several guys in the past that are either non-practicing Catholics or Protestants. It is very sad and disappointing to see so many guys my age that lack faith in God. I just got tired of meeting guys that are like that so I thought I'd try this site.

I'm looking for real Catholic friends. I was distressed when my younger sister died in November, not one person from my Catholic church of over 40 years called, sent a card, or came by to check on me, even though she had also been raised in that church, gone to Sunday School there (CCD) and had been married there. I decided I needed to find some REAL Catholic friends who don't just show up at church weekly, daily for appearances sake, make the sign of the cross when they pass churches while cussing out their kids, pray the rosary with the married man she is having an affair with, and other mind-bending aberrations, but truly live their faith.

My mom was widowed at 29, and spent most of her life after raising us, alone. She always said that if God wanted her to remarry, He would send the man to the door. I feel that God helps those that help themselves. If I'm granted another 20 years or so, I don't want to spend them alone. My children are great, but they all have their own lives to live.

If you go into any site with great expectations you may be setting yourself up for disappointment. But dating sites have become a common and acceptable form of meeting other singles and by using a site geared toward our faith , I feel like the chances of meeting other mature adults with similar morals and values will give us a better chance of finding a match.

After dating a non-practicing Catholic, a Kilt-wearing Wiccan, a Presbyterian Minister's son(who was a deacon), and Epsicapalian con-man, and a non-practicing Evangelical something or other....I think I'm ready for a practicing Catholic who's involved with his church.
