Even though I do not have a television to inspire the ire, the internet is bad enough... Glad I am missing the commercials.

When working in a heavily Mormon/LDS population for 8 years in the Northern Rockies, I discovered a delightful group of people whose beliefs are very peculiar, indeed, and my very good LDS friends think the same of Catholics! However, there is one thing that they always did and that was to pay their bills. So with respect to the economy, I think a Mormon would be a good idea. Those big bad business guys are not against charity either - they are actually huge funding sources for many charities. I am just afraid that one of the candidates may impose taxes on churches as businesses.

As for health care, We do not need Health Care Reform, we need insurance reform! Having the IRS be our health care support liaison means, YES, they really get to have direct access to our bank accounts and can take out what they see fit, including non-medical "fees", all because this Health care deal is being indicated as a "tax".

As for the faith based focus of the candidates, it's basically a good vs evil choice. Abortion and especially Infanticide are horrendous. Do a search to check out procedures for late term abortions if you want to learn what pro-choice really means. It is absolutely unthinkable, and I agree that anyone who votes for this agenda is endorsing these abominable practices and should be excommunicated.

The fact that the present administration has dictated policy for insurance or federal funding that cross Religious beliefs and practices is sickening. Many National protest that were held had zero to minimal coverage by the major networks.

Until this administration this had not occurred. Freedom of Religion and All Religion is what this country was founded on.Yet when international torrorism occurs and our representatives are killed our leaders seem to be more concerned with their own agendas.I also believe that sarcasm and making snide remarks in front of a national forum speaks to the caliber and or lack of character needed in one who is to be an example for this country and it's people.

Romney even has the guts to announce he is pro-life.

For same sex marriage that is not how jesus created us, however I am not going to be the one to cast the first stone and same sex marriage has nothing to do with being married in the church> they have a right to their own choice as well. women should have a right to their own bodies.. Socialism come on? be real. The new middle class $200,000-$250,000. That counts me out, and i guess i will be in the 47 percent and i have a MED in education with 25 years experience.. It wouldn't matter who the president was in the last 4 years.. Bish left us a mess and Romney doesn't have a magic bullet.. he has stock in china companies and Bain Capitol you may want to read up on.. Also Mormons are extremely prejudice it is so sad.. Don't be so blinded trust God and know the truth.. Romney says his religion lead him to run. This is his 8th year running? red flag!! Also his mormon faith is a cult.. Joseph Smith had quite the colorful life!!!

It's unfortunate to be Catholic in 2012 or is it!? After all it is our duty to live the Gospel. That being said, we are on a platform that requires us to process the issues that are non negotiable. What are those you ask?

We have life, marriage and religious liberty at the top of the list, because these issues are foundational. And on life, marriage and religious liberty, Mitt Romney is immeasurably better than Barack Obama.

LET'S LIGHT THE LAMP BECAUSE IN REALITY OUR SOULS DEPEND UPON IT.

1. ABORTION-

OBAMA :*( SUPPORTS unlimited abortion in all cases without restriction including partial birth.

ROMNEY : ) OPPOSES Roe v. Wade. will end federal funding of Planned Parenthood and Abortion.

2. SAME SEX "MARRIAGE"-

OBAMA :*( SUPPORTS redefining marriage, ordered his DoJ to stop defending DOMA

ROMNEY : ) SUPPORTS traditional marriage, DOMA & a Federal Marriage Amendment

3. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM-

OBAMA :*( DEFENDS HHS mandate forcing people of faith to violate their conscience.

ROMNEY : ) PLEDGES to repeal HHS mandate and respect the First Amendment.

4. SCHOOL CHOICE-

OBAMA :*( FAVORS Federal control of K-8 education, opposed school choice, Obamacare fines CATHOLIC SCHOOLS.

ROMNEY : ) BELIEVES in empowering states to set education policy & strongly supports School Choice.

5. SUBSIDIARITY-

OBAMA :*( PROMOTES federal takeovers of health care, auto industry, college loan market, etc...

ROMNEY : ) SUPPORTS "FREE" people, free enterprise, free association & respecting autonomy of civil society.

Due your due diligence, Pray and Fast for our Country. It's our duty as Christians to Love and stand firm in our FAITH, we must walk in TRUTH! God Bless America!

I'm hoping Romney and Ryan win (we need our religious freedom back!) but I'm not sure who will win. It seems a close race. Obama cares nothing for Christian values and principles. He is clearly heading this country toward socialism, perhaps even communism, and pushing abortion and contraception, even forcing people to pay for these evils despite a conscientious objection. I believe that Obama really thinks that he is doing a good thing but, even economically, socialism and communism have failed time and time again and always miserably trample God-given human rights. i love Obama because he's one of God's children but i abhor what he has done and is doing to this country. I was saddened to see the platform that the Democratic party adopted (and tried to adopt) this election. Neither party should be for abortion, contraception, euthanasia, gay "marriage." These things are contrary to God's laws. I'll rejoice when both parties are pro-life and embrace sacramental marriage. The "voter's Guide for Serious Catholics" is an excellent reference before stepping into the voting booth. We cannot, in good conscience, vote for someone who is promoting abortion (and other non-negotiables) and we must always choose the lesser of two evils (if there are indeed two evils to select from...who will do the least amount of harm to our country?) . Mother Theresa said, "it is a shame that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." (Or something like that) Would Jesus vote for someone who is actively promoting abortion? I don't think so. Peace, love and God's blessings to you.
