Its a commercialized holiday but I like to celebrate, as they take time to say to all those people who for some reason do not see often and are part of your life that you love (friends and family) and additionally surprise your boyfriend with a something that no have to be expensive or materials, may be a little note or a dinner made for you, have a drink together or have a picnic, watch the sunset and thank each other for personal growth, love and life partner. (I think there are problems in the wording but I'm learning English!;) )

Just another reminder that am single....but i really thank God for the gift of my life and also guiding me to be one of the CM singles, where by i have met a friend though not married yet, but planning and praying to get married soon. I take this opportunity to encourage every single person on CM to pray and never give up God will guide you to the right person one day. God said, My end will be better than my beginning" God is faithful and true to His words and God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

Valentine's day is a day to remind us of a catholic saint Fr. Valentine who sacrificed his life to spread the good news in the service to fellowmen for the glory of God.A good verse to remember this day is found in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that who so ever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life..." It's not bad at all that lovers and sinlges take this special day to spend time with their beloved one for a romantic love date. But we must look back in gratitude to God Yahweh as the true source of unconditional love or Agape love...May we all have a wonderful celebration.God bless the desire of your hearts according to His will. Happy Valentine's day to all!

St Valentine Day is one of many such days where you can express yourself how you feel for another one that you love, with sincere, and compassionate gifts, while also showing her how much you care for her by being there, and be dependable, while also being respectful.

Every day is a Valentine day if you are with the person you love. You don't need a holiday to remind you to give your love to your very special person. Doing something each day to make your love smile and being appreciated. i miss that interaction ,since my husband died ,so this year I will make an effort to make those I come in contact to show my them they are appreciated and give them one Big Huge Smile .

I believe that St. Valentine's Day has become very commercialized, just as most other holidays have become. I have a daughter that was born on Feb. 14th. I knew ahead of time that I would have to have a C-section when she was born, as I did with my son, before her. My husband and I made a conscious decision to have her on that day, when our doctor gave us an option to pick a date within a few days of her actual due date. By choosing St. Valentine's Day, we thought of the commitment of love my husband and I would be making to each other and our new baby, for the rest of our lives and hers. She certainly was a wonderful blessing we got from God and we have never regretted that our Feb. 14th celebrations have been mostly to honor and remember her birth. Feb. 14th is one of my favorite holidays mainly because that's when my daughter was born.

Well I feel excited because I'll decorate my students' (who are from 6-8) classroom.
An other than that... well it's important, never spent one as a couple yet !
But let's try looking at the good side of it!
You can always show your love to your family or friends, or hey maybe even one person in need.
