What:  6th Annual Pizza & LaSalette Lights event

When:  Saturday, December 17th, 2011, 12:00 noon - ?

Who:  You! ... and any friends you want to bring along.

Itinerary:

12:00 noon - 4:00pm:   The day starts with delicious homemade pizza and good company over at my apartment.
4:00 - 7:00pm:   We move on to the National Shrine to Our Lady of LaSalette and their spectacular light show.  The will also have a concert, vigil Mass and even the sacrament of Confession available for those who need it.  For those who haven't been there before, here is a link to their website:  http://www.lasalette-shrine.org/index.html
Bonus:  After enjoying the lights at the shrine, depending on interest, we will head to a local food spot for dinner.  In years past, most people have gone to the post-shrine dinner because we've had such a good time.  We will go to either Briggs or Bliss.  Their websites are http://briggscornerpizza.com/ and http://www.blissdairy.com/Family_Restaurant.html respectively.

Where:

In case you need to map directions to my apartment or the shrine, the addresses are as follows:
- For the pizza:   54 1st Ave., apt. 3R, Woonsocket, RI 02895
- For the LaSalette Shrine:  947 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02723

Just an FYI that there will be locals coming to the outing that are not members of CM

Kathleen,

Good question re: Mass. Each year we've playied it by ear for those attending. If they want to go the vigil Mass, then we make sure we leave in time to attend, but if no one wants to go the vigil Mass, then wil might be more casual on when we arrive at the shrine. The key, of course, is that if you are meeting us at the shrine to call me on my cell when you are then. That way we can coordinate meeting with everyone else.
