Hello Friends and Neighbours
Knowing that CM'ers are getting together in other locations encouraged some of us from this area to plan an event. A simple affair that will give us a chance to meet other Catholics, visit a historic site, worship together at mass, and then share a meal. Hopefully it will be a fun occasion that is filled with laughter (of course, only at the appropriate moments) and new friendships.
Come and join us for a tour of beautiful Ste Anne's Church in downtown Detroit. The first church was built in 1701. The present building is the 8th church for the parish and was built in 1886. We will have a tour given by one of the parish priests, Fr. Riley, at 4:00 p.m.. Mass is at 5:00 p.m.. After mass we will head for Mexican Town Restaurant for reservations at 6:30 p.m.. Let us know if you plan on coming so we can look for you.
When: Saturday February 18th @ 3:45 p.m.
Where: Ste. Anne's Church Detroit. Tour at 4:00 p.m.
Mass at 5:00 p.m. - We will try to sit close to the front on the left hand side if you aren't able to make the tour.
Supper: Mexican Town Restaurant @ 6:30 p.m.

You're right Ted---we all had a wonderful time! I too am looking forward to another event soon and get together with CM members. It is so much more enjoyable than just perusing the site online. I would help plan something; but, I live a distance away from all of you, a one hour drive from Windsor (Chatham is East of Windsor). Hopefully we will meet some time this Spring!

Sadly, I double-booked myself without realizing and now have to miss :(
I do hope another get-together can be planned. I love the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. Maybe we can see if we can have a tour, Mass and dinner at one of the many RO eateries.

This event has really had a lot of "views". I am hoping that some of the "viewers" who have not replied, will decide to join us. Non-subscribers who may not be able to respond, are most welcome. The more the merrier!
For those who are coming, I look forward to meeting you.
See you all Saturday!
