Come to the Hollywood Bowl this summer to see PIXAR in CONCERT
From the Toy Story trilogy and Cars to The Incredibles and Up, Pixar has forever changed filmmaking and given audiences of all ages some of the most beloved characters in cinematic history. Now, for the first time ever, the Hollywood Bowl presents “Pixar in Concert,” with visually stunning clips and memorable scores from each of Pixar's movies (including its latest release, Brave) performed live by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. In the hills surrounding the Hollywood Bowl are charming areas perfect for a pre-concert picnic. You can bring your own food and beverage or enjoy the various culinary delights including two gourmet marketplaces. If the picnic areas are full, we can just picnic at our seats.
It is easy to get to the Hollywood Bowl and is very accessible to neighboring cities. There are FOUR EASY ways to get to the Bowl.
1. The Bowl offers Park & Ride Lots in Arcadia, Chatsworth, Culver City, Downey, East L.A. El Monte, Lakewood, Pasadena, Rowland Heights,Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Torrance, Westchester, and Westwood. Parking is free and the bus ride costs $5/person round trip when pre-purchased. $10/person when purchase at the lot. Visit www.HollywoodBowl.com/Park&Ride for more information.
2. If you live near the Bowl, you can park for free at a close-to-the-Bowl Shuttle lot (and take a shuttle to the main gate. $5/person roundtrip. Visit www.HollywoodBowl.com/Shuttle for more information.
3. You can take the Metro if you want to GO GREEN. Red Line riders who exit at Hollywood/Highland (Shuttle Lot D) or Universal City (Shuttle Lots A and B) can show a Red Line ticket for a free shuttle ride to and from the Bowl. Regular Metro lines serving the Bowl: NO. 222 LOCAL (from West Hills, Burbank and Hollywood); NO 156 LOCAL (from San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles). 4. You can also drive yourself and park in an on-site stacked parking lot. Parking is limited and lots fill up fast, so arrive early. Parking starts at $17/car.
