Hello Pat, I may try to attend the event on July 2. Are you going to this event? At St. Stanislaus Kostka Church located in Chicago, IL they were handing out prayer cards and the priest told the people to pray the prayer below for the "Fortnight for Religious Freedom" June 21 through July 4. I heard on Relevant Radio there will also be different guest speakers speaking during this time period. I encourage everyone on Catholic Match to print out the prayer below and to pray the prayer below if you believe in your religious freedom.

Mary Immaculate Patroness of Our Country - Pray for Us

O GOD OUR CREATOR, from your provident hand we have received our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You have called us as your people and given us the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God, and your Son, Jesus Christ. Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit, you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world, bring the light and the saving truth of the Gospel to every corner of society.

We ask you to bless us in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty. Give us strength of mind and heart to readily defend our freedom when they are threatened; give us courage in making our voices heard on behalf of the rights of your Church and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.

Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father, a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters gathered in your Church in this decisive hour in the history of our nation, so that, with every trial withstood and every danger overcome--for the sake of our children, our grandchildren, and all who come after us--this great land will always be "one nation", under God, indivisble, with liberty and just for all."

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Pat
Thanks for postin that information. I have been there for the Rosary a few of the nights so far and will try and make it the rest of them. They do the Rosary at 6:30 pm then if there is a guest speaker they move to a large meeting room.

Denise
Thank you for the prayer. I think it is important we all pray for our Religious freedom before it is too late. May God bless all of us.

Keep the Faith
Chuck
