Our Blessed Mother Mary had already Loved God so much at such a young age
The story is beautiful of St. Joachim and St.Anne. It should be told over and over. I especially love to look and study the paintings that were painted on the Life of St.Anne and St.Joachim with the dream of St. Joachim. The story unfolds beautifully, and the frescoes were painted by Giotto.
Giotto ( c.1266-1337 ) Giotto's early frescoes in the Upper Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi. He painted the life of Mary. The Annunciation to St.Anne and the presentation of Mary to the temple. I have Giotto's book, it is a large book and the art and frescoes are exquisite. I often will sit and study his painting and I love the paintings of St.Joachim and St.Anne together. I will try to find a link, but not sure where.
He also has his frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, and his late frescoes in Florence's Santa Croce.
Please tell us teh story of Mary and her parents, it is one that is truly holy.
