Sorry it took me this long to reply...In the crock pot was an old recipe from my Mom, that I made, called barbecued hamburgers. You make hamburgers (I add onion, bread crumbs and egg). Grill them up. Then, in the slow cooker, I put in stewed and chopped tomatoes, barbecue sauce, marinade, sugar, salt, pepper, a little hot sauce and some water. Then I put the burgers in and let them soak up the tomato/barbecue mix. After a few hours, they're ready for a bun. Nice, easy lunch or dinner thing.

That sounds delicious Dave, thanks for sharing. Do you grill the burgers completely or just sear them?

Tonight, I took a little nap, had a quick supper of scrambled eggs and cheese on a tortilla. Then I went grocery shopping...xcept I got sidetracked by the light on at my hair salon. So I got a haircut (all of them, for you smart alecks out there) then went shopping for ingredients and made our traditional holiday treat for Thanksgiving...

Cranberry Pudding! clap cookiemonster

I inherited the recipe from my mother-in-law.

Has anyone on CM yet mentioned that Joanne, in her photo, looks all bridal-veiled and ready for the altar? scratchchin
