December activities?

Dec 1st 2012 new
My favorite month of the year....the weeks leading up to the great Solemnity of our Lord's Nativity... smile

What type of activities are you planning this month?

I don't know where you live, but there are plenty of concerts and things in the next few weeks.

For me, I am headed to a concert tonight by the UTSA choirs, orchestra, and soloists performing " Christmas Cantata", "Ceremony of Carols", and "A Christmas Garland".

Tomorrow I am off to here the UTSA choirs and organist perform the "Messiah".

Forget about moaning and groaning about being single. What are you gonna do this month?

I just went to a live Nativity at a neighboring church a couple days ago. It's something they put on every year & it's truly amazing. There's also a nearby city that has an awesome Christmas Light show that I'll probably go to soon as well. The school my kids go to are having a Christmas concert next week too. So lots of activities to go to in my neck of the woods. santahat

Last night I attended Under the Streetlamp - the concert was at a local casino and I won two tickets. I highly recommend the concert, first a group of men out of Chicago who called themselves the Gentlemen club sang accapello then the Quartet came out and sang some Christmas music while a 'Big band' played in the background. I really enjoyed all the music but they brought the house down with their rendition of Pretty Woman.

Even though I attended last nights concert free I would gladly pay to see this event again.......
