Thus, we can add the Shroud of Turin as verified as being from our Lord's time, as is the Valencia Chalice, the Holy Grail, originally made of Agate, kept in the Cathedral of Valencia. That, through recent analysis of recrystallization, has been shown to come from the Holy Land and to have been made in its orginal form from the 4th Century BC to 1st Century AD.

Pope Benedict XVI recently celebrated mass with this very chalice. It is a wonderous thing that speaks to the unity of the Church in both space and time a spiritual descendent of St. Peter can celebrate the Divine Liturgy with the same chalice used by our Lord in the Upper Room this day.

Recently several of us from my parish went to see one of the official replica shrouds displayed at an Eastern Rite Church in Washington, DC. If I was a skeptic before, I walked out a believer. It was explained the reason the image showed one of Christ's arms longer than the other was likely a shoulder dislocation caused by His crucifixion.
