Michael, having locked the last Status thread mischievous, follows protocol and starts the next one. M has just returned home from a very fulfilling and enjoyable day at CM-Lacrosse, WI, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. What a blessed day it was Dove

Lauren is groggy from taking a really long nap, lol. and will probably be up all night. Day was mostly peaceful, except for trying to write my speech for Josh's wedding and wondering what his dad would want me to say to him. Now L has to run across the bridge and check on her grandpuppies because their mommy is staying the night with their daddy where his rig is :-(. And, Lauren is starving. . .

Isn't that a great show, Lena?! We love it!! It's on KCET here - Channel 28 - at 7:00 PM. I even have one of my mom's caregivers addicted to it. She watches it on the same channel on Friday afternoons at 2:00 while she does our ironing. Portwenn forever!! Chelle

Rachel has finally gotten her chance in the shower! She and her daughters were outside in the near-90F weather today getting yardwork and garden work done before Sunday. Since it is supposed to be a wet week, she wanted to finish putting in the garden, planting flowers around steps and light posts, and get the lawn mowed. So far, Rachel's garden has lettuce, spinach, chives, cilantro, parsley, basil, tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, squash, cucumber, pumpkin, watermelon, beans, peas, celery, rhubarb, peppers and her flowers include marigolds, salvia, biden, geraniums, zinnia, sunflowers, and she forgets what else. She finished edging the walks and sweeping them and the porch while waiting for her turn to bathe after all 4 daughters, after our first ever family Rosary outside on the new glider and bench -- she is glad none of her daughters were embarrassed by praying aloud outside even though we live next door to a very UN-Catholic church whose members were out and about during that time (9pm). She is also glad to have started daily family Rosary over a month ago and not missed a single day. She is not glad that the impending storms have caused a migraine to show up, but it is not terribly bad and her meds may kick in and help her sleep through it to wake fine in the morning. Rachel wishes you all good night!

Suzanne just returned from her god daughter's homeschool graduation mass and ceremony at Assumption Grotto in Detroit. What a beautiful day. 17-1/2 years ago I was there for her Baptism, then First Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. Time passes so quickly.
