Anne hopes Sam's hand is healing fast and she can cool off swimming, she also wishes she could have a glimpse of Sam's sisters farm.Hope the ducklings make it,they would be so sweet. Fireworks!! We used to be allowed to set them off, but not really any more..
Anne stood in as P.C. during her daughters netball game against another rural team, plenty of action, but we came through. Now Anne is warming up with a good cup of tea.

Welcome, Maryjane to the Neverending Status Thread, a chance to share your life and mingle with the cool sociable singles of Catholic Match. To my knowledge we have not had a Status Thread marriage, although there has been dating behavior and cross-gender friendships between participants. Does anybody know abt any Status Thread marriages?

Margo has stocked up on good food this a.m. at the Farmers Market. She bought rhubarb, lettuce, kale, stir-fry peas, rye and sweet potato bread and blueberry/rhubarb scones. She sampled absolutely fresh cheese curds, citrus sugar cookies, kale, the bread and scone, and some lovely black bean dip. And did she mention that she lives a mere two blocks from the farmers' market, which is open May through October? Margo's quality of life here in lovely Menomonie is quite high. She'd love visitors! And dates! (This is how you slip in a little happy advertising, Maryjane.) cool

Zoom was surprisingly sleepy when he got home last night, given that he had drunk several glasses of tea (both hot and iced) throughout the day. Maybe there's a point at which caffeine ceases to have a keeping-awake effect? Anyway, Zoom just laid down in bed and listened to the Tigers game. The Tigers beat the Indians, 7-0. biggrin baseball

Right now Zoom is doing laundry. Clean clothes are needed because Zoom is proclaiming the Word at Mass this evening ...

M has repositioned nearly all of the stuff for next weekend's long drive to Florida out into the garage for easier loading into the rental truck. M stopped at Budget this morning and took a gander at the lineup of trucks shocked , and prays Praying that God will direct the rental agency to assign M the truck most likely to survive the 1648 mile trip without any problems rosary

M is still making huge decisions as to what to take with, and what to leave behind to sell ... Grandmother's antique chair, her RedWing BobWhite china, how much of the wall art, how many boxes of trains and cars does M really need to drag through life rolling eyes , electronics that might get damaged in transit, book and records that have taken years to collect, items from travels to Poland and to CM events, scratchchin

Michael, The Amish sales clerk at the farmers market said that the cheese curds were from yesterday's milk. Squaky fresh. Then I had some 3-6 month old cheddar, I believe.

Margo sympathizes with you, M, for your "what to keep/what to ditch" moving challenges. She encourages you to contact the Red Wing people to ask abt the value of Gma's china and whether a museum needs it, or perhaps a buyer. scratchchin (totally your decision, of course.) Menomonie M well remembers her moves after her divorce, in which she happily downsized possessions. Well, guess what! Margo has spent the weekend cleaning out her house, where she has lived since 1997. Trip to Goodwill this a.m. with the back car seat full, a 2nd good-sized pile for Middle Daughter in back porch, a 3rd smaller pile for trip Back Home there. "It's always something," as Roseanne Rosannadanna used to say on Saturday Night Live. Do you remember that? cool

Oh Michael, Florida is a long way from the Guthrie Theater and the Mpls Institute of Art!

Tomorrow after morning Mass and before evening Mass everything will be put away in perfect placement as it should be that wasn't yet put back and company can come by.

Clara hasn't posted in the Status Thread for quite a while. wave

C is happy to say that she was able to go to Missouri last weekend for Tom and Colette's wedding, which was very nice. Tom and Colette met here on CM; Colette was a frequent poster in the Status Threads! C has posted a couple of pics from the wedding in her scrapbook. She was disappointed to see that she couldn't add a pic to her post!! sad

C hopes Michael's trip to Florida is safe and that he is able to decide what to take and what to leave.

C hopes all those here in the Status Thread have a nice evening!! biggrin hug
