I was just singing that in the shower last night!!! Both the Tina Turner and CCR versions, Tina had some great legs AND she just got married. Hmmmmm, maybe that's a good sign for us, Jan!

Hi Richard: Yes, I remember Jerry Blavat the Geator with the Heater! I love music from the Motown era. Remember the Commandors, The Four Tops, The Associations. They were great !

Walk along the river, sweet lullaby, it just keeps on flowing,
It don't worry 'bout where it's going, no, no.
Don't fly, mister blue bird, I'm just walking down the road,
Early morning sunshine tell me all I need to know

You're my blue sky, you're my sunny day.
Lord, you know it makes me high when you turn your love my way,
Turn your love my way, yeah.

Good old Sunday morning, bells are ringing everywhere.
Goin to carolina, it won't be long and I'll be there

You're my blue sky, you're my sunny day.
Lord, you know it makes me high when you turn your love my way,
Turn your love my way, yeah, yeah, yeah

Good tunes like Motown, lots of Philly sounds, other dance songs, some good slow dancing music, basicallyanything that's at least 20 years old! ,,, ('Course I remember the days when I was out dancing to this stuff on Sat nites instead of listening in my living room! - LOL!)

So, anybody out there like the oldies? If so, what are your favs?

If you subscribe to Sirius/Xm (no, I don't work for them) "Mostly Music" offer for about $12 per month, you get 50s on channel 5, 60s on channel 6, etc. I've got it on two of three cars (don't want to upgrade the '86 Vette radio) and am constantly flipping through 50's thru 80s music (90s and newer are mostly garbage).
