Wow.. what a harsh statement! It's unfortunate someone hasn't found any Value in all the great Forums here from Catchetics & Apologetics, St. Peters sq, E&H,and the support in the Womens forum. And, often times i look at the # of posts a person makes or read through them.. and it seems to make more sense. The less engaged you are...how much do you really expect to benefit from something?
Over the years i've had to go to enough regional meetings/conferences and sat with those same type of people, you know the ones--they talk during a presentation, don't really want to be there, think everything is a waste of time,, etc.etc., and I came to realize i had 2 choices, i could be more involved/engaged in those meetings/conferences and come away learning something that may help me move forward in my Career,, or come away with nothing. I chose the first, and believe me...you start understanding things a lot more of the "why" behind things..or as they say the 10,000 ft level.
Very little in Life is Perfect, and as someone said previously.. "you get what you put into it".
I couldn't disagree with the original post more! CatholicMatch has enriched my life way more than I imagined. I know more is to come, too. It takes work, risk, sacrifice, adventure, prayer, openness, creativity, and optimism.
You do get out of it what you put into it.
And I still believe CM will be instrumental in meeting my future husband.
