Hi CM'ers Looking for more Adventure!!
The purpose of this thread is to find out if there is enough interest in attending another CM Rocky Mountain Adventure event.
Many of us had such a blast Labor Day weekend 2011 at CM RMA, that we are looking forward to spending another wonderful weekend next Labor Day in God's beautiful creation sharing in faith, fun, and fellowship. We departed CM RMA with a spiritual Rocky Mountain High, and can't wait to return..... one of our group attendees has even started counting down the days until the next event!! Some of us have continued to stay in touch with the friends we've made, and a romance even blossomed between two of the attendees after the event!
We will be staying in rooms at one of the YMCA of the Rockies lodges this time.... your choice if you want a private room or want to share. Breakfast and dinner will be prearranged, buffet style at the Dining Hall. Meal tickets will be handed out at the start of the weekend. Lunch will be up to the attendees. We will use the same shuttle service.... they were amazing.... got us where we needed to be on time! We will use the same whitewater rafting outfitter...... the guides were very knowledgeable and lots of fun, too! We will order less evening snack items..... too much was ordered last time. More hiking options/descriptions will be added to the packet I provided. Estes Park events will again be listed for those who would rather spend time visiting this Western tourist town instead of hiking.
If you are interested in attending the event, please post on this thread. If you attended CM RMA this past Labor Day, please feel free to share pictures from the event. Hope to see some familiar faces, and some new ones too next Labor Day in the Rockies!!
This event will be posted on the events page as soon as we know if there is enough interest.
Looks like I just answered your question.
I am interested. The only way I seem to take my vacation time is to have a destination waiting for me.
Glad to hear you're interested in joining us, Janet!
I know what you mean about having a destination first. Although I hope to eventually make Colorado my home state.... it just feels like home to me.
I knew you would be, Michael!
After all...... who would be there to talk Fargo with Tom?
By the way...... the Fargo talk refrigerator magnet from Minnesota you gave me at CM RMA has generated lots of questions from friends and family.
