what goes around comes around . people are not stupid anymore .
You are correct. We are not stupid anymore. The nonsense which passes as the "Spirit of Vatican II" is finally going out. Long live the Servant of God, Pope Benedict XVI!
Tammy did you see this.Aren't you involved in Lifeteen?
I corresponded for a time with a man who had left the RC priesthood because he found Lifeteen so disturbing. He said that Lifeteen was based on the Jesuits' crackpot liberation "theology." Lifeteen founder Dale Fushek is a notorious homosexual abuser who rose to heights of power under the shameless bishop emeritus of Phoenix Thomas O'Brien. Lifeteen, like all the other garbage of recent years, should be put out of its misery.
Thanks for that info Sean!
Hapy Birthday Tammy!!!! What you are saying is: If it is more liberal in that place then they blow this up to seem like a bad thing, then...
That attitude is ridiculous.. on th aprt of the ones blowing this out of proporation- meaning- the liberal ones..
the church has already turned its back on vatican two . wrong wrong wrong
Actually, in practice, much of the church turned their backs on Vatican II 40 years ago: much of what was promoted and implemented as being in the "spirit of Vatican II" either wasn't mentioned in the Vatican II documents at all or - worse yet - was contradictory to the recommendations of Vatican II.
Having read the 16 Documents of Vatincan II myself, cover to cover, I must agree with Jerry.
To attempt an analogy, Vatican II as actually written was like the American Revolution. Its implementation was like the French Revolution.
Don't forget about the vast array of cults spawned or encouraged by the outcome of Vatican II - Opus Dei, Legionaries of Christ, TFP, Liberation Theology, Focolare, Lifeteen, Charismatic Renewal, etc. OD and the Legionaries were around before Vatican II but grew in importance after the Council.
Here we go AGAIN. What is wrong with you, calling Opus Dei a cult? Must you attack and attack and attack everything?
