Absolutely agree, Sandra. I'm hoping the push from Catholic bishops will get the attention of all Americans. Abortion is a politically correct term for murder of the innocent children in the womb. Sadly, this low view of the value of all life is being spread to the elderly and infirmed with the committe determination of whether each individual has surgery their doctor has determined they need. Very scary and such an attack on our faith.

It was during the elections of 2008, and the context was that he didn't want his children "punished with a baby."

He said it during a campaign speech given in Johnstown PA on March 29, 2008.

Yes, all of his views on abortion, partial birth abortion, leaving a baby to die (by neglect) shortly after birth, his legislative voting record in Illinois, etc., were in the public domain before the last election in 2008. The problem is that if the media doesn't cover it, it is as if it was never uttered or never voted upon. It is hard to stay informed if the media doesn't want to cover a story.

Even though the Catholic church does not recognize a Mormon baptism as valid (if a Mormon wants to convert to Catholicism), Mitt Romney is certainly much more Christian in terms of his values, morals, ethics and behavior than President Obama (a self-described Christian) ever thought of being. I hope that everyone will realize this in November.

KIND OF Shows you what someone is made of doesn't it? eyebrow I remember I felt ashamed of having someone like this running for office.

Obama is correct it is a punishment for some, like those giving birth to babies that were the result of rape or incest or the women giving birth to babies where the dad is long gone.

Let's not play this game and say all babies are wanted and will have great lives. Many babies being born are being born into horrible situations and it is horrific. Before anyone mentions adoption, there are plenty of kids in foster care who want to be adopted while people pass them by.
