Hello to all,

As Jerry and Linda mentioned, we are now in Week 9.

Last week, I got 8 right.

The Rams, Patriots, Jets and 49ers all have a bye.

Once again, home teams in bold:

Thursday, November 1, 2012

Chargers over the Chiefs

Sunday, November 4, 2012

Broncos over the Bengals

Ravens over the Browns

Packers over the Cardinals

Texans over the Bills

Dolphins over the Colts

Jaguars over the Lions

Bears over the Titans

Redskins over the Panthers

Buccaneers over the Raiders

Seahawks over the Vikings

Giants over the Steelers

Sunday evening

Cowboys over the Falcons (time for the Falcons to lose)

Monday, November 5, 2012

Saints over the Eagles

Last Sunday, the first game shown in Houston was the Steelers and the Redskins. For those that saw the game in their area or have seen the highlights, in my opinion, the Steelers wore the worst looking uniforms I had ever seen in the NFL. To me, they looked like prisoners in their pajamas. By half-time, I could not take it any more, shut off the TV and took a nap.

Also regarding Gerard's topic about playing games overseas - I don't like it. The NFL should play its regular season games in each team's home stadiums. I also hope the NFL never expands outside our 50 United States. I know the Canadians have their own league but let those other countries start their own leagues. Let's keep our regular season games on American soil.

Best wishes on your picks and blessings to all,

Leon

Blessings to you too Leon as well to all the members.

I agree, the Steeler's uniforms made them all look like giant bumble bees ... fitting perhaps for Halloween. biggrin

With the NFL playing internationally, the teams must benefit financially for playing in those locations, but it doesn't seem fair to the season ticket holders.

I had 8 correct last week,

My picks for week 9 are as follows:

Thurs: San Diego over Kansas City

Sun: Washington over Carolina

Green Bay over Arizona

Detroit over Jacksonville

Chicago over Tenn

Denver over Cincinnati

Houston over Buffalo

Indianapolis over Miami (go Andrew!!)

Minnesota over Seattle

Oakland over Tampa By

NY Giants over Pittsburgh

Dallas over Atlanta

New Orleans over Philiadelphia

Good luck to everyone.

I think that it is official...the Steelers jerseys were the worst that I have seen,in a long time(at least it matches their unbalanced helmet; the 32nd "best" in the league, IMO...where is Adrian Monk, when you need him?... laughing laughing laughing laughing

International play is not fair to the American fan.We watch the games, buy the licensed goods, attend the games and keep the stadium employees busy.
