Jerry,

Hello fellow Texan,

You stated, "Jerry Jones (owner of the Cowboys) has promised "changes" in the organization. Wonder if he'll start with himself? Like firing himself as the GM!"

Jerry, no more wine for you today.

Blessings,

Leon

Hey brother Leon! I guess it was wishful thinking on my part! (actually has always been a wish but he HAS to big of an ego) He promised changes though and I hear from Gerard below they fired the "defensive coordinator" Rob Ryan.

You know maybe the man was inept in some people's opinion but I think the defense was decimated with injuries. We were to the point where safeties were going to have to play linebacker if we had lost any more!

I picked against the Texans my fellow Texan....but will gladly give up that win if they win! I will be pulling for them!

Predictions for the divisional weekend:

Broncos over the Ravens,29-24.(Denver has too much firepower, for a good counter-effort from Baltimore).

49ers over the Packers,28-21.(San Francisco front seven will make life unenviable, for Green Bay).

Falcons over the Seahawks,24-23(Atlanta should find a way, against Seattle).

Patriots over the Texans,34-26.(New England too strong at home and has a blowout win, against Houston).

Notes:

Sorry Leon, although I would like a Texans win,I don't see it against the Patriots.

The Falcons/Seahawks game will probably come down to the last moments.

Jerry,

You are correct about all the injuries...I think they were about to take people off the streets... laughing

Seriously,I think that Ryans' dismissal is a warning to Jason Garrett.

Hello to all,

Well fellow posters, I did it. Lost all four picks. sad ashamed

I want to wish the Patriots and their fans congratulations. On both occasions this season, you proved beyond any doubt, you were the superior team to my Texans.

As we are down to the final four, I might as well make my picks for next Sunday. I can't go anywhere but up. However, after this past weekend, I am not so sure. Anyway, here goes.

As usual, home teams in bold:

Sunday, January 20, 2013

Ravens over the Patriots (I feel Ray Lewis has the Ravens believing in themselves. I think the team is playing for him as he enters the last game or possibly the last two of his 17 year great career).

49ers over the Falcons (I don't feel lady luck will be on the Falcons side two weeks in a row)

I wish you all well in your picks.

Blessings, Praying Praying Praying

Leon, I think the Patriots are REALLY playing strong. And they arguably have the best quarterback in the league. Brady will pick himself up every time! And he may go down a lot....so....

Patriots over Ravens

The 49ers looked like men against boys last week. I think the FALCON TRAIN will halt right there in Atlanta. Besides....the 49ers in IMHO have a BETTER defense than the Seahawks....and we all saw how close they played Atlanta...so,

49ers over Falcons

Don't know if it was Barry Switzer's idea or not. But back when he was coaching the Dallas Cowboys he would say something like: "Gentlemen, you can enjoy this win for today/tonight...but just remember; HUMILITY is only 7 days away!"

I SURE understand the humility part after this last weekend's picks!! LOL!
