Well, twice already Washington gave citizenship to illegals, with the stipulation that the borders needed to
be tightened to fix the illegal immigration problem.

Yes, they have been tightened, but still another 30 million or so came through "without being noticed" faint
since those two attempts at fixing the problem.

Immigration reform is necessary. High-level skilled workers, especially those that are trained in this
country, need to have access to work and home here. Quota's need to be put in place again so
that immigrants from all different parts of the world, with all different backgrounds, have access to
America and its hope. Social security needs to be safeguarded for the workers who have paid
into it their whole lives.

Is this reform going to be some form of welcoming card to an additional 20 million illegals that will find
their way across the borders, and we will have to do this again for the 4th time in another ten years or so?
Probably so.

Washington doesn't seem to be able to fix this problem. They used to be able to control the problem
in the past by following the laws already on the books. Not anymore.

If Washington has not followed the laws on the books in the past, with regard to illegal immigration,
what makes us think that any new laws they put into place in this next round of immigration reform,
will be any more successful at fixing the problem?

Well, it isn't only the borders that will control illegal immigration like they are trying to let us think. It is
all the laws on the books which are not being followed that is allowing this problem to fester and grow.
It is employers who hire illegal immigrants off the books. It is hospitals who treat illegals for free. It is
Social Security money given out to those who have not put money in. It is free education given to illegals.
It is anchor babies born in this country to illegal immigrants. It is cops and law enforcement officials who
are told to turn their heads instead of identifying those here illegally. It goes on and on. Washington
knows this and they know how this illegal immigration problem happened. They are still ignoring the
problem.

Washington is not being honest with the American people. Obama is not being truthful with the
American public. The status quo will be followed as usual. We will have to go along with it, as usual.
Who is running this country? It gets more and more scary to think about this question.

Tonight on the news I heard something disturbing. In order to become citizens, illegals have to register
with the Government. As soon as they register and it is determined that there have not been any
problems with arrests, etc., they will be eligible to work in this country.

I would think that since this economy has so many underemployed and unemployed, and the market
seems to be stalemated about hiring new workers, this is not such a good idea for those workers who have
lost their jobs and are trying to get back into the work force.

If this is the case, things look kind of bleak for recovery, since there will be many more unemployed
eligible workers chasing job prospects.

The next thing the Government will do is put in an incentive to hire new college graduates who
are minorities.

So the $60,000 student loan outstanding, that one has for their sons or daughters, will not
be paid off as soon as anticipated. Competition for the few jobs that may be out there
is getting even steeper.

Does this look like an economy in recovery?
