Lets see, I got my slide rule out and my conkulator fired up. If I carry the 1 and divide by multipling I think she paid $30 for a half case and two weeks later paid $7.50 for a half case. Couldn't you have just said that Paul, without giving me a math headache?? laughing

BTW, aksed, is that Egyption for asked?? wink

The two cannot be compared, since at any given time the price for a full case may be less, perhaps significantly less, than twice the price of a half case.

And this is exactly what he wanted to occur.

The price of cabbage, even at wholesale, is based on weight. Although the price may be lower per pound for buying a large quantity, it will never amount to half the price per pound for buying the smaller quantity at the same source.

I can hardly believe the turn of events going on in this country, especially since Obama took office for
the second time.

Dennis Rodrick as Ambassador to Korea

Government in Sequester

Incarcerated people let out on the streets

US sending aid to rebels in Syria

Same sex marriage all of a sudden condoned by Obama in his second term, not his first

True cost of Obama's healthcare kicking in (and it is a pain in the pocketbook)

Prices in grocery store skyrocketing

And stock market is about to hit its highest point ever................

Nothing makes sense anymore.

(And additional news is that we will soon have two Popes.)

One of the ZeroHedge authors suggested that the sequester is political theater designed to distract attention away from the Fed when the Fed stops quantitative easing.

The stock market is a joke. If I had enough money, I'd be shorting big time. It's just another asset bubble designed to create a wealth effect. The US economy is a disaster after several decades of offshoring and the decimation of its manufacturing base. All we have left are debt bubbles to create fake wealth. The show's going to end one of these days. We're screwed.

We have become a decadent neopagan culture that values excess over moderation.

I am just throwing this out there...

Could it be, for those who read The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ www.sacred-texts.com based on the visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich you know that Caiphas gathered the enemies of Jesus and paid them to stand against Jesus and accuse him of doing and saying things and twisting his words around.

"They hastened to all the inns to seek out those persons whom they knew to be enemies of our Lord, and offered them bribes in order to secure their appearance... The enemies of Jesus hastened, however, to the tribunal of Caiphas, escorted by the Scribes and Pharisees of Jerusalem, and accompanied by many of those merchants whom our Lord drove out of the Temple when they were holding market there; also by the proud doctors whom he had silenced before all the people, and even by some who could not forgive the humiliation of being convicted of error when he disputed with them in the Temple at the age of twelve. There was likewise a large body of impenitent sinners whom he had refused to cure, relapsed sinners whose diseases had returned, worldly young men whom he would not receive as disciples, avaricious persons whom he had enraged by causing the money which they had been in hopes of possessing to be distributed in alms. Others there were whose friends he had cured, and who had thus been disappointed in their expectation of inheriting property; debauchees whose victims he had converted; and many despicable characters who made their fortunes by flattering and fostering the vices of the great.

All these emissaries of Satan were overflowing with rage against everything holy, and consequently with an indescribable hatred of the Holy of the Holies. They were farther incited by the enemies of our Lord, and therefore assembled in crowds round the palace of Caiphas, to bring forward all their false accusations and to endeavour to cover with infamy that spotless Lamb, who took upon himself the sins of the world, and accepted the burden in order to reconcile man with God."

Could it be, that the Obama administration is doing the same thing in some way but in the affects of praising Obama to make him look good and loved by all? scratchchin

I would agree with that 100 percent. In this world- Holiness is relative and way to subjective, as is truth...there is no such thing as sin or the devil. Its better to be open-minded, tolerant, nice, and politically correct- that's what is preferred. Not obedience /submission to God or a church- This is America today. just my 2 cents

I got into a debate with an arrogant attorney about same-sex marriage who kept telling me I was "ignorant" when I told him I had issues with the American Psychiatric Association's definitions about homosexuality for various reasons related to scientific methodology. Not to mention the groupthink that has befallen Catholic and other devout researchers who criticize their studies.

It dawned on me that in the absence of God then nothing is true and nothing is false. Formal logic says that the appeal to authority is a logical fallacy and that saying the scientific method can be proven because of the scientific method is circular reasoning.

In the end scientism as much of a religion as Christianity, especially because both rely on faith.

"Experiments" are made easy when you already know your conclusion and look for ways to manipulate data to support that conclusion. The social sciences are really just social engineering. They're about manipulating the perception of reality to make people think that planned results came about randomly.
