Who are the moderators of this site? Do they change throughout the day?

Thank you.
While staff have moderator authority there are several CM members who serve as moderators. People ten times more patient than I. They do a great job of being tolerant yet drawing the line at uncharitable behavior.

Thanks Patrick! There have been episodes of 'abuse of moderators' but overwhelmingly it has been a very satisfying and lovely experience! wink

We don't have a set schedule.. We just spend time on CM in whatever our regular pattern has been.. Actually, for the most part, members are better behaved than when we first started laughing

If a post is removed from a violation because of a report of violation, will it not be proper to notify the poster and the reason why? I have had a post removed without understanding why.

Removing it altogether without having to notify the poster makes it appear that they have been judged before a trial.

Just my two cents.

Also, if there has been an "abuse of moderators", how do we deal with them?
