American and British intelligence services have been fomenting Islamic radicalism for decades. One of their most loyal assets is the Saudi royal family, as well as the monarchies of other Gulf States. Islamic radicals are being used to destabilize Russia and other states from North Africa to China. So, who is persecuting Christians? Christians, Muslims and others are being blown away to further the geopolitical aims of the criminal empire that runs the US and much of the West.

Which goes to show how unprincipled they all are. This arrangement suits Islams agenda for World conquest. The manipulators have become the manipulated and the monster that is Islam is making every one else suffer. The money that pours into the political 2 party farce needs to be jetisoned and other partys brought into the race for power. Doing nothing is empowering these corrupt thugs. More than likely our young will be culled in a World War 3. Dejavu only the numbers of the dead and maimed increase.

O.K.

Do you agree or disagree with William Binney, the NSA Cryptologist and whistleblower who was an insider for decades. He helped set up the system, so he knows more about this than nearly anyone.

Again, while I agree with the premise that there is more surveillance around today than there used to be, it is no where near the levels that some would have us believe.

Even if we take the video at face value, it is rather problematic. Notice how he is very long in generalities and very short on specifics. He throws around big numbers on the amount of raw data the system could take. He makes self-contradictory statements. He obviously wants us all to believe that the government has stored every bit of data that crosses the web, every comma in every email, every click on a web link. But yet when the interviewer points out that Google has responded to a massive number of requests for information, his explanation is absurd!!! How many investigators are going to waste their time getting a subponea or a search warrant demanding information they could just look up in their super-secret evil government data base? The answer, in real life, is none. I guess in conspiracy theory land, all government employees have an infinite amount of time to spend re-inventing the wheel to do these things.

As far as whining about gathering information from social media, even if we assume it is in fact happening, so what? If you don't want your information public, then you're a fool for broadcasting it on the internet. It is silly to complain that the government is looking at stuff that is out there for everyone to see. The notion that somebody has some kind of expectatin that everybody in world can look at their facebook page or whatever except a detective investigating a crime is absurd.

You're kidding yourselves if you think you can camera yourselves into protection. Invading privacy, snooping, scanning emails, those naked x-ray scanners, having library books checked out that alert the authorities, its a level of nosey I'm amazed you guys are so tolerant of in order to "protect" yourselves.

You can never, EVER prevent these sorts of things completely. There will always be people one step ahead of your authorities. Honestly, it wouldn't take much to pull something like this off if you kept all your transactions and communications completely between those involved.

You're better off investing in mental health care and better social support networks for people who are more likely to fall through the cracks and fall prey to the mindset of blowing up civilians pleases Allah/God/Buddha/Cthulu.

The authorities already have too much power to invade people's privacy, dont give them any more, because one day it might just be us bigotted, homophobic Catholics on the receiving end...

I think it was Ben Franklin who said it best:

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

I think this country is already amazingly well protected. Its amazing that more terrorist incidents dont occur.
