But Sharon, do you find a particular part of the commercial amusing or do you find it distasteful

Actually, I giggled when I first saw it (and I've only seen it once) because it brought back memories of my cousins getting called on the carpet when their mothers found inappropriate magazines under the mattress. So for me, it's a real life situation. And it's normal curiosity. I think there are far more distasteful and inappropriate things on television nowadays - such as the commercials for viagra and cialis and feminine products and depends - is nothing personal anymore? In any case, it won't affect my standing with Allstate insurance in any negative sense. And "Mrs. Neighbor" should pull her blinds closed. Just my two cents.

The Carl's Jr restaurants here in southern CA have been airing very suggestive ads for quite some time. I was appalled when I saw the first one. I even wrote to the company & said I would no longer frequent their restaurant on that basis.

I did it too and their product tastes all the same and is flavored with liquid smoke- is probably no longer charbroiled. It is no loss as I have stopped going there and told them so as well. Their latest ad is designed to appeal to gay men in my opinion. wink

Yes like those ads for intimate lubricants... where the couple discusses the quality of last night's sex...
