Dennis had a request for fried chicken from his baby girl, who is really not a baby anymore and could probably do it herself... But since his baby girl made the comment that Dennis's fried chicken is the best fried chicken this side of the Mississippi he is now frying chicken, and mashed taters and of course some good ole chicken gravy...

Awww, Margo is disappointed she came home from work to miss the Indiana fried chicken, which she hopes Lina didn't eat. Dennis' daughter deserves nothing but the best from her soft-hearted daddy.

Margo also is pleased that so many people are status posting and that C got to see T&C's happy wedding, which sounded divine, if not divinely inspired.

Margo had a good day at work. It was, after all, her pay day. laughing cool No really, M did have a good day at work. wave

Keith is happy for Margo. Payday is always a good day. But yes, it's a bonus when the actual workday goes well, also.

Keith enjoyed a nice ride on the motorcycle this morning on his way to work. No one accidentally tried to kill him in traffic this morning, so that's always a good way to start the day. Keith is looking forward to warming up some leftover ribs from the holiday weekend to have for dinner tonight, with some asparagus and a baked potato. Just got the day started, and already thinking about dinner... this could be a long day.

Yay, Tom and Collette! Sam loves 'happily ever afters'!

Good morning, all! First, the wood duck update is that she doesn't have one. Sam's sister hasn't called her back. Don't know what that means- they may have already gone to the great beyond.

Second, Sam took her kids to Shakespeare on the Green, outdoor performance of 12th night, and it was FABULOUS! It had a musical- like format with different pop songs, (think: "Call me, maybe"), and the kids LOVED it. Sam was so pleased that their first experience with the Bard was such a good one. Cultivating little nerdy eggheads starts early.

Today we are headed to the amusement park with 3 groups of cousins. Sam has never met a roller coaster she doesn't like, so she is excited. Fun Plex also has a water park so Sam bets her injured hand is gonna get wet because she is NOT staying on the sidelines.

Rachel is listening to her 2 youngest children giggling over a Winnie-the-Pooh movie on this hot summer day. She and the girls walked down to the creek to cool off, playing in the water, trying to catch minnows, salamanders, waterskippers, and crayfish in our hands and Theresa's new orange bucket. Rachel was so hot she was unenthusiastic about cooking a meal, so we enjoyed fresh cold fruit (grapes, cherries, apples, and bananas), cashews and peanuts, and popsicles -- and we all approved! The humidity is so high that R just can't make herself weed the garden tonight!

Edward suggests to Michael that he check if his Garmin has an Australian English audio option on his Garmin. Edward has that option selected on his Garmin .... he likes that lady's enunciation better than the "standard" English voice.

Margo's status is that of a Garmin-less, Apple-less woman. Someday she's gonna break down and force herself to buy a Global Positioning System, but only if it has an attractive manly voice. She still won't like to listen to directions, though.

BTW, M's relationship status is still single. Go figure. cool laughing wave
