Never had the opportunity, as I follow the Speed Limit to the letter. I only exceeded it once, by less than 5 mph, in front of an officer who could tell I was doing it because another driver was sitting in my blind spot oblivious to my turn signal. The officer ticketed the other driver for ignoring my signal.

But seriously, I wouldn't do it.

Follow the speed limit to the letter? How odd! I've only ever seen speed limits posted in NUMBERS ;lol: duck

If you followed the speed limit this diligently on the east coast you would probably have been in more car accidents than you would care to remember.

I have never met the person who follows the speed limit, although I do understand that in the midwest, even the police on patrol do.
