I don't work in retail but I am ''strange'' and friendly

I work with people with injuries and make them feel better

I do strike up conversations with strangers. But it took a long time for me to be able to do that. I would say just in the last 5 years, I've come out of my shell. I was feeling pretty confident about it until after a nice conversation with a male stranger earlier this year. He started asking personal questions about where I lived and details about my life, Of course the red flags went up immediately and I decided to politely change the subject. It literally gave me chills in a bad way. Suddenly this stranger was not ok. So since I have learned to talk to strangers with my guard up just a little. I'm looking for a friend.. not a stalker.. wide eyed
