The Church is like a 'field hospital'. We're wounding ourselves, others and God (constantly). Only confession and communion, as sacraments can be received over and over, during our lifetimes. They go together: Christ forgives us and Christ's body is consumed by us. Priests can decide not to forgive too. So if they do forgive you, a good final response is 'thanks be to God'. theheart
