Saint Thomas More was martyred during the Protestant Reformation for standing firm in the Faith and not recognizing the King of England as the Supreme Head of the Church.

Hungary's new constitution took effect in April of this year (2013).
I really urge you to read the preamble (pages 1&2) and the "FREEDOM AND RESPONSIBILITY" section (starting on page 10).
There is nothing like a formerly-repressed, Socialist and Communist Soviet Bloc country, devastated by many decades of human rights abuses, anti-family and anti-religious laws, forced abortions, torture and privacy abuses and government tyranny against its' citizens to provide witness to devastation that such governments create.
Hungary's new constitution makes it appear that it is rising from the ashes, recognizing its' Christian past and creating this very impressive new constitution that appears to be very much influenced by Catholic beliefs. At least on paper, it provides new protections (to its' citizens) that may not even be granted by our U.S. Constitution (and amendments).... Like the protection of human life from the moment of conception.
There is really so much (in their new constitution) that I found impressive, that I just couldn't copy it all here.
Here is the link. >>> www.kormany.hu
