The idea of “grow in faith, fall in love”- was really what drew my attention to the advertisement. So I subscribed, with an open mind and heart. Being that this was my first “singles” site of any type, I really had no idea what to expect..

I met Ashleigh on a thread in the forums about cookies of all things! We began emoting each other, using the chat feature through the site. The time spent corresponding; we quickly realized how much we have in common. The more we shared about ourselves, the more we realized how dear our relationship could be. However, there was one small obstacle, in the form of the Atlantic Ocean! While modern technology is indeed wonderful! Web cams and text messages- just aren’t suitable substitutes for the real thing. So, without delay- I booked a flight to Scotland. The memory of finally being able to meet face to face, sharing the first hug- will be forever etched into my mind. In the city center of Glasgow, on both knees in front of the Dr.David Livingstone monument, I proposed… She saying yes, the magical date is March 6th, 2010.

Thanks to the Catholic Match advertisement, found while searching for a Mass time at my local parish- my life is set to take a
wonderful change. I would tell everyone that subscribes to this site, to have an open mind as well as an open heart. Because it is
quite true…”grow in faith, fall in love! Thanks to CM, I have found my Scottish lass! God truly is the ultimate match maker!

I hope that through Jesus Christ's witness, Doctor and Gentleman Saint Francis de Sales, you continue your communion and holy friendships that have helped you and others in the Church grow in communion in love as the family of God.
