At the grass roots of the Catholic life, couples are finding the one they want to spend their lives with, including these three examples…
A common interest in music was the lynchpin for Peter and Jessica’s relationship when he liked her profile and sent a message inquiring if she had ever been in the band. After two weeks of messages they got together in person.
The first date brought about a deep connection very quickly but they continued to take their time and develop the relationship. Jessica would express amazement on how they each found their soulmate seemingly by accident. While they live within thirty miles of each other in Texas, they went across the Atlantic to become engaged. Peter proposed to her in Edinburgh and Scotland and she said yes.
This past summer they were married in Dallas, almost two years to the day that they first met.
Mark and Anna featured in the photo above, are from Canada and brought the common desire of so many CatholicMatch members—to simply find someone on the same values and principles, and orientated towards their family. Mark felt like it would “impossible for me to find a person of that kind, but with the help of this wonderful website everything is possible.” Distance was a factor as he is from Vancouver out west, while she is a native of Toronto, a little east of center. He has since relocated to be with her and they are building their lives together.
And in Virginia, Peter and Mindy found that which is built with time is the most satisfying. Three years after they first met on CatholicMatch they got married.
CatholicMatch is happy for them all and wishes all its members more success on this blessed day.
