Are you a single Catholic? Meet Your Match Today [close]

Do you insist on tidy quarters? Can you resist the chance to straighten out a misplaced towel or an unmade bed? And if so, are you ruling out slovenly singles?

I got to reflecting on these questions when I stumbled upon “Extreme Tidying Up,” a mesmerizing photo gallery on the NPR science blog maintained by Robert Krulwich. The before-after shots were taken by the Swiss artist Ursus Wehrli. Once there was chaos, now there is cosmos.

Check them out and let me know what you think. Where do you fall on the tidy spectrum? What do you expect of the person who will one day share your closet?

And in case you haven’t clicked over to view Wehrli’s work yet, here’s a tease. Doesn’t this bend your mind?

Yikes! No thank you. Mind you, I’m by no means slovenly but I was in a long term relationship where he had to have things spotless in my house but in visiting his place it was extremely messy. I definitely won’t put up with a double standard again and if you want my place to be spotless than you can help yourself to tidying it up if it bothers you.
