Lisa Duffy’s Daily Reflection

A friend of mine shared this beautiful story with me:

She attended the Journey of Hope 2011 Conference but did not stay at the hotel because she lives locally. On Sunday of the conference, she was running late but was very hungry and debated whether or not to stop and eat something for breakfast. She felt inspired by a thought that kept coming to her… “I Am all the food you need” and in the end, decided to skip breakfast and not be late for mass. After mass, Fr. Thomas approached her and asked her to help Him consume the Eucharistic hosts that were left over from communion, and there were many. What a great grace she received in being selected to consume the extra hosts by being in tune with the Holy Spirit and His inspiration, “I Am all the food you need.”

Is there something you are feeling inspired to do by the Holy Spirit? When you hear His whisperings in your heart, trust it. Follow it. He is trying to lead you to something better than what you already have. And when you find yourself encountering those negative and unpleasant situations that divorce forces you to be in, say a quick prayer and ask for His inspirations. He won’t let you down.

“Since we are living by the Spirit, let our behavior be guided by the Spirit.” -Galatians 5:25
