We live in troubled times. Everything that is moral, just and right seems to be turned upside down, mocked, and disdained. All that is immoral is held up as good, just, and what everyone should do.
These contradictions make it very difficult to cope with the disaster of divorce, especially when children are involved. But let not your heart be troubled, as scripture says, because Christ will bring you the peace and understanding you need if you remain connected to Him in prayer.
Simple conversations or all 20 decades of the rosary, it doesn’t really matter what type of prayer you choose. What matters is joining your heart with His, sharing your worries and concerns with Him, and opening your heart to whatever He wants to give you. This is how you can have peace in the midst of chaos.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27).
