From East to West, couples are finding lifelong love on CatholicMatch, and a pair of examples from Nevada/California,  and Pennsylvania are just two more examples.

Stephanie was living in California when she connected with Edward on CatholicMatch. Even though he was in a different state, she was close enough to the California/Nevada border that it was a manageable three-hour drive between them.

The drive was so manageable in fact, that Edward made it every weekend, once they’d had their first date and he decided that Stephanie and her young son were something special. Stephanie reached the same conclusion about Edward. “After several months of traveling, I decided to relocate with my son to the town he lived,” she told CatholicMatch. “I got a job and we continued dating until he asked me to marry him.

Stephanie relocated herself and her young son to be closer to Edward. Soon after, he proposed, and today they are married.

Today, Edward and Stephanie are settled into married life and hoping to grow both their faith and their family together.

Joe & Kate each live in the Pittsburgh area, and their relationship followed a neat, rhythmic pattern. In 2010, they connected on CatholicMatch. In 2011, they were engaged. And in 2012 they were married. Joe & Kate are shown in the photo at the top, and are also looking forward to a life founded on faith and family.

Whether it’s Edward & Stephanie or Joe & Kate, or any of the other member stories in the archive, what they all have in common is a simple willingness to put oneself “out there”, and to follow up the opportunities that arise.
