Theresa Notare, PhD, is the assistant director of the Natural Family Planning Program, Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Washington, DC. She provides consultation on programming issues to diocesan NFP coordinators, conducts research on human sexuality, chastity, marriage and fertility and also coordinates national seminars.
Theresa is a member of the Catholic Church Historical Society, the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers and the USCCB’s Delegation to the 2012 World Congress on the Family, sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Family. She also is a member of the Anglican-Roman Catholic ecumenical dialogue in the USA.
Theresa has taught religious education, art and Pilates. She is trained in classical ballet and enjoys cooking, sewing and listening to classical music. She is single.
