I agree with Bianca, it depends on the age of the children. If they are young wait a year or when it starts getting serious and you know this person will be staying around for the long run (commitment)!

If they are older than maybe after 4 or 5 months

Always wait, and introduce as a friend until they suggest or the children are ready.

It all depends on the age of the children, even two year olders remember things when they grow up. Waiting at least a year or more will create a friendly atmosphere so everybody will get used to each other. If it does not work at least they might have a friend.

I guess I would have to go with the "When it feels right." I am extremely caseous about introducing my sons to someone I'm dating because I know how desperately they want a dad who lives with us. I don't want to parade men through their lives. I don't want them to get attached and then get hurt if it doesn't work out. They deserve to be blessed with a man who wants to take them in as his own.

It depends on their ages.

You don't want kids bonding with people and then having them go away. If that's not a concern anymore, than I would ask the kids when they are comfortable meeting the date, or better yet, pray about and let the Holy Spirit direct your steps
