What features are available to free and subscribing members?

All members, regardless of subscription status can create a profile and browse or search for other members. All free users have an oportunity to preview the features of the site and community of singles we offer.

How much does it cost to purchase a subscription?

Our current subscription packages can be found by visiting the Subscribe Page. When promotions become available, an email notification will be sent to all members with an active free account and can be redeemed by selecting the link included directly in the email.

If you do not already have a CatholicMatch account, we welcome you to create a free profile. The free account option is available so that you can become familiar with the the features and availability of members before committing to a subscription. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept any credit or debit card with a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express logo.

For our members in the United States, we also accept mailed checks, however, please know that only online payments are eligible for discounted promotional and renewal rates. How can I pay by check?  

Please Note: For security reasons, we cannot accept cash, money orders, or wire transfers.

How can I purchase a gift card?

Gift cards are available for purchase by United States residents and will be mailed only to a valid United States address. Please visit the Gift Card Order Page or call us at 1-888-267-8885, ext: 2 between 9 am to 4 pm eastern time to make a gift card purchase.

How can I update my billing information?

If your subscription is active and you wish to update your billing information, please follow the instructions below. This will ensure that your renewal will process without interruption.

  • Locate the Billing Information section on your Account Page
  • Choose the option to either review or update
  • Enter your new information
  • Select Update Billing to save your changes

An authorization will be placed on your card at the time that you update your billing information. This is done to verify that you entered your information correctly. We remove the authorization within moments, but it may still appear on your statement for up to 48 hours.

Where can I find my subscription end date?

All information related to your subscription is located on your Account Page. To reach the account page, select Account from the menu in the upper right corner of the site.

Can I get a refund or a partial refund?

Once the subscriber-only features have been used, refunds are not offered, however, individual requests may be brought to the attention of the customer support team to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Why was I charged at the end of my subscription?

We provide our members with automatic renewal to ensure uninterrupted service. To be sure that all members are informed of our policies and how to cancel, we provide this notification during the order process, payment confirmation, and in the order receipt.

You can make changes to your renewal settings on your Account Page.

How do I know if my subscription is scheduled to renew automatically?

Information related to your subscription, including your renewal settings, can be found on your Account Page. If you need to update your renewal settings to either enable or disable your account's automatic renewal feature, please choose the appropriate button located in the Subscription section of your account page.

How can I change my renewal method?

In order to provide uninterrupted service, all subscriptions begin with automatic renewal enabled. To make changes to your renewal method:

  • Visit your Account Page and locate the Subscription section.
  • Review your Renewal Status to determine whether your subscription is scheduled to renew or expire.
  • If a change is needed, select the appropriate option from the subscription section.

What happens after my subscription expires?

When your subscription expires, your account will become a free account. The free account allows the use of most site features, however, the sending of personalized communication would not be possible without an active subscription. You are welcome to keep your free account for as long as you would like.

How can I manually renew my subscription?

If your three or six month subscription expired within the past seven days, select either Renew with Discount or Update Billing Info on your Account Page.

If your one month subscription expired or if you are outside of the seven day window to receive the discounted renewal rate, visit the subscribe page to purchase a new subscription.

How can I pay by check?

If you are a resident of the United States, we can accept a mailed check, however, pease understand that discounted promotional and renewal rates are offered only to those who pay electronically. Additionally, for security reasons we cannot activate your subscription until your check arrives.

  • Visit the Subscribe page
  • Choose your subscription length
  • Select payment options beneath the credit card logos
  • Select Mail a Check
  • Print or write the information from the Check Order page to include with your payment.
  • When your check arrives, we will activate your subscription and send an email receipt

How can I subscribe if I live outside of the United States?

We can accept any credit or debit card issued through Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Currency Exchange
When you make your purchase, your financial institution will automatically convert your payment to US Dollars, if necessary. For current exchange rates and possible fees involved for this service, we recommend calling the phone number listed on the back of the card you wish to use.

Declined Charges
If you no not make online purchases from the United States on a regular basis, your financial institution may decline the charge because it is outside of your regular spending habits. This can be remedied by calling the phone number listed on the back of your card and letting them know that you authorize CatholicMatch, LLC located in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States to debit the amount of your subscription.

If the decline message states Card Issued From Unsupported Country unfortunately our payment processor is unable to accept that particular card, however, you are still welcome to purchase a prepaid card for use on the site. 

No Credit or Debit Card
If you do not already own a credit or debit card, prepaid debit cards are available for purchase from most financial institutions and major retailers and are accepted on CatholicMatch
