Journeys Of Hope

Kyle & Meredith

In December of 2008, I (Kyle) decided to give Catholic Match a try, because I live in prodominantly Baptist area. Finding Catholic women in my area who are not already taken is a difficult task. In the first couple of months as a member, I met three people, but none worked out and I was beginning to doubt if using CM could really work. Then in mid-March of this year, I did a search for women within 250 miles of me and I found HER.

From the moment I read her profile, I knew we had a lot in common. I sent her a message and she responded. For three weeks or so, we chatted every night. She pushed for us to meet and eventually I agreed. She made the four-hour drive from her home to mine one weekend. When it was over, we knew we had a serious connection. We decided to meet again and I drove to her hometown. We have been together for over a month now and both of us know we are in love. She is the woman I never thought I'd find. She has filled my heart with happiness and has made my life so much better.

Although I had my doubts that Catholic Match could really help me find The One, I am so glad that I became a member and used the website. Neither one of us knows what the future may hold, but we believe that it will involve us being together. So thank you CatholicMatch. Without this venue, I would've never found the most wonderful woman in the world.

J.R. & Nelissa

It has been quite a unique and amazing story of love for us! We are now in a committed, long-distance relationship.

We first encountered almost a year ago through CM. Then, we first met in person last year during the Thanksgiving weekend, and a second time this year during Lent. We know it is a coast-to-coast relationship, but we are ever grateful to God.

Our hearts are full of love for each other, and we are happy! We share in daily prayer exchanges and have learned so much from each other, day by day, about our Faith, ourselves and life itself.

No relationship is perfect, but with God, we are perfected for each other. We have geniune concern for each other, and know that our Faith has designed our situation to make us grow even better and stronger in a future life together, some day. We are real soulmates!

We believe that all good things work for those who love our Lord and Our Holy Mother. We talk happily about the future, but live in the present moment. We hope that our example of persistence, prayer and patience can be a true encouragement to others at CM. "Faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love… Love never fails."
