Superman Flies In

I joined Catholic Match in May of 2009. From
then until March 2010, some very good people reached out to me.
However, I did not sense that magical spark with any of them.  I also
was not finding that magical spark with those I met off the site.
Thus, I began the process of trying to accept that God's will for my
life might be different than what I wanted it to be.

Feeling a bit discouraged this past spring, I considered canceling my
Catholic Match account.  However, I held off because no matter where I
traveled, I saw so many advertisements for the site in various church
bulletins from NY to Arizona, it kept me thinking:  "Stay on just a
little longer, never know who might sign up tomorrow!"  Well, turns
out that glimmer of hope paid off–BIG TIME!!!  At the end of March,
one of the most special people in the World, Christian Miller, reached out to me.

years I've been teased, friends have called me a "run-away-bride" and
others have said that the type of classy gentleman I hoped to meet only
existed in the movies. Well, I know it's early, but in just these
last couple of months Christian Miller has proven to me his great
character. Our relationship is deepening daily, beyond my wildest

I am the girl who was starting to figure it could
only take Superman in my dreams to sweep me off my feet.  I was engaged
before and had very cold feet…the last man I dated made me feel like
digging my heels in when I considered walking down the aisle….But
now, when I think about marrying Christian one day, the image of
walking down the aisle doesn't freeze me in my tracks as it did with
other fellas…Instead of a deer in the headlights, I feel a sense of
peace and joyful excitement and imagine nothing but a beaming smile on
my face as I excitedly proceed down that aisle toward him.

I extend my deepest gratitude to  Catholic Match for providing this
service and for so heavily advertising it.  Not only did it lead Mr.
Wonderful to me, the magnitude of advertisements from sea to shining
sea are what kept my hope alive and on the site so that he could find

another note, coincidentally I encouraged my father to join
Catholic Match.  He resisted at first because he thought he might only
meet "fuddy-duddy" Catholics…WELLLL, as coincidental as it is, around
the same time I met Clark Kent…errr, I mean Christian Miller, my father
too met someone special whom he believes is the "Love of his Life" !
We are simultaneously experiencing the same magic and awe over what
we both consider to be miracles.  I can't put into words what an
amazing Catholic Match Experience it has been for both me and my
father, not only have we finally met the persons we believe to be our
soulmates we have shared a father-daughter experience like no other! Thank you again and God Bless !

Thanks for sharing a wonderful story. It holds true to "good things come to those who wait." I've always believed that by putting all your faith in God's hands …. there is nothing that is too small or too big that he cannot deliver onto you.
