How do you remain patient when it seems like others best friend too who are around my age are married and making babies and I don’t even know where I am at in the mix? It is basically a timing issue for me. I struggle with jealousy and envy a lot from it although at the same time, reflect on my blessings (part-time job, health, blooming relationship). I go to confession about that but feel forgotten with God’s Plan when I am still waiting.

Kinda on the same subject why does God bless others who He knows will disgrace marriage and not try to live a moral life and don’t bless as much (so it seems) others who try to live morally?

How can I get my ideal match. I am divorced and I am recovered. I am very spiritual, I love to work with the community like visiting the ill, elderly, and prisoners. There was one guy that I like him because he has almost the same interests than me, but one day he called me, and I felt bad because he preferred talking to his brother for a wedding than me, he asked me sorry and that he will call me next day, he did it. But when I asked him if he prays daily, he told me every once and then. Last Saturday, he text me and I did not answer then he called me Sunday and I answer and he saw me busy and told me he was going to call me , and he did but I did not answer, then I wait for two days, and send him a text message, he didn’t answer, now yesterday I called him back and left him a message but he hasn’t answer yet. What happened tell me?

What should I do if my date avoids wanting to meet my family members or is reluctant to want to participate in any family events? And how long should it take before I ask him to meet my family?

You’ve met someone, now what? How do you introduce prayer into the relationship? How soon should you talk about certain thing?

Well, unfortunately this is all in hindsight… Bob and I met through Catholic Match, talking online and emails 2 months before meeting f2f. this was last october/november. Spent time in NYC in Dec… and have been in an exclusive loving, spirit-filled relationship since then.. we’ve realized that we each are the one the Lord has chosen…. so my parents are having a really difficult time with this… please pray for me… mind you, i’m 48 and my love is 50! we have 3 children each the youngest is 5, the oldest is 22! I’m thinking that I need to break out of the parent approval mode…. any advice???

What do you say to family members who don’t approve of your meeting a mate online?

Don’t tell them about it. I wasn’t sure how mine would react so rather than hurt them (or myself) I decided to keep it quiet and just enjoy new friends if they come along.
