Waiting On The Catch Of A Lifetime: A Texan’s Tale

By Kyle-304857

My buddy from college was getting married and we took to South Padre Island for the bachelor party, while his now-wife took the girls to do the same.

We fished while they shopped – typical, right?

After slinging a chunk of raw squid on my hook and dropping my line, I started to feel an aggressive tug.

As I reeled in, the fish took more line out. Eventually, I got him near the surface, and when he saw the boat bottom, he really got excited and went under us to the other side of the boat, tangling up some other lines.

After moving around the stern and cutting several other fishing lines, I was able to hoist the red up into the boat.

My buddy was a little jealous that I did so well on his bachelor fishing trip, but I think he (temporarily) forgot how great a catch he had in his soon-to-be wife!

I’m still waiting on my bachelor party, once I land the catch of a lifetime.

Tessa I think u are being very unfair I never wanted to be divorced,I was an excellent husband, considerate, had a great business, was a 100% faithful and loved my wife with all heart, unfortunately she is mentally ill and just went of the deap end she had 2 siblings and her mother that committed suicide. It’s the worst period in my life and yes I probably should have known better, but sometimes u can’t help whom u fall in love with
Cut us a little slack just because u apparently met a few losers doesn’t mean all divorced men are losers.

So is that a Tuna? You never identify what kind of fish you caught. Great catch!
