Rejoice! A Special Message From Lisa Duffy

Scripture tells us, there is a time for everything:

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven

A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.

A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.

A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.

A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.

A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.

A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.

A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8).

Today, my dear friends, is a day to rejoice. No matter what your situation, hope lies in the very thing we celebrate today… the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and His triumph over sin and death.

I attended my parish’s vigil mass last night and prayed especially for each one of you, asking for blessings and graces to help you today and in the year to come. May the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding be yours today.

    Well, as they say down South, ‘ You sweet lil’ thang! May the scent of the magnolias follow you through out your life’s journey!! God bless your generosity of Spirit!
    Seeing Val Kylmer as Doc Holliday profoundly affected me. I am a character impersonator and he steps up to the plate quite often. My brother enjoys our dissertations when I am in character. Interestingly when Doc Holliday died, he died a converted Catholic. We have a Gun fighter in Heaven!!
